Those are rare days when hard core Indian fans support Pakistan. The match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan was important as it was also the qualifier that decided the team which will play in the final but more importantly this would have decided who would be playing against India in final. Who does not want another game between the two arch-rivals? Unfortunately, it was Sri Lanka who won the match in a nail biting thriller. Ashalanka made 6 runs in last 2 balls to get Sri Lanka into final.

In the IL Master’s group, another close contest was happening. It was the Lone Wolf who had the final laugh. She beat the Invincible by just 5 points to win her first match of the tournament. She, it looks like is peaking at the right time. This tournament was but a warm up and prelude to the actual competition which is world cup. Probably this was her battle cry to warn other masters that it is not going to be easy. Don’t you worry that we will not go down easy. Great game and congratulations.

The Invincible, who is one of our most successful masters in the last IPL, could not show much promise in here. He we think is saving his best for the ultimate tournament. This was most probably his way to show that, he can whenever he wants to. In fact if Ashalanka made just a few runs more, Invincible would have win it. Hard luck there. After winning his first match in the last encounter the Betulose seems to have taken a leave. He played only 7 players and rested 4 to came at last position. He does not mind this minor mishaps we are sure. With one win behind him he now have the confidence and the renewed vigor. Masterss be ware. Betulose, make sure yo show them who is the best.
