The match report by the Veteran: All the matches of world cup 2023 were one sided. This one was no different. The match kind of ended in the first half itself when South Africa scored a whopping 428. Sri-Lanka in return tried fighting back but at the end they lost by 100+ runs.

In the IL Master group, things were not so one sided but it was not in anyways could be called a close encounter. The Dark Horse made it look easy at the end to win it by nearly 100 points from the next master. The Dark horse as we all know had mastered the art of making interesting line ups. However, he now also mastered the way to make those teams click. He is another true holder of his alias. Great job Dark Horse. Keep it up.

A notable mention for this match was that 4 people crossed 1,000 points in one match for the first time in IL Masters’ group. This is a record. Apart from the Dark Horse and The Dude, the Clutch God and the Invincible crossed the magic number tonight. Great job all of you.

The Dude came second. His ploy of taking 7 players from South Africa went well. However, not having Jensen in his team and not so good choice of vice captain eluded him of the win this time. Better luck best time. Congrats on being the second.

The wooden spoon for the match went to the Bond. Who looked royally out of form. Like the Veteran he too needs to rethink about the tactics. Best of luck for that.
