The match report by the Veteran: The 17th match of WC 2023 between India and Bangladesh was exactly how it was supposed to be. Apart from winning the toss and the first wicket partnership nothing really went well for Bangladesh. They finally scored a sub per 256 in a batting wicket. India did not even lose a single sweat to chase that target with 7 wickets and 9 overs to spare. The architect of the Indian innings was king Kohli who scored a century with a six in the very last ball of the innings.

In the IL Master group, the Invincible received his second win after 16 matches. He started this tournament as a favourite and had a win in the very first match. However, after that he could not show the consistency that we know him for. In fact between this win and that he received 3 wooden spoons. This was probably the match that broke the shackle. The Invincible certainly hopes for that and rest of us hope not. This match also brought the Invincible to top of the Leaderboard. Awesomely done Invincible, congratulations.

The second came the Lone Wolf. She played this game with vengeance after receiving the wooden spoon in the very last one. With little luck she could even won it but reporter thinks she did not mind losing it to the Invincible as India won the match and her favourite cricketer Kohli scored a unforgettable century by hitting a 6 in the very last ball of the match. Well done Lone Wolf, way to go and best of luck.

The wooden spoon this time went to the Ingenious. Her ingenuinity is not at all working in this format of the game. She, it looks like need to do some serious rethinking of her strategy. Best of luck for the Ingenious.
