The match report by the veteran: There are one sided matches, and then there is 24th match of the world cup 2023 between Aus vs Netherlands. Everyone knew Netherlands would lose this match, however, no one expected them to lose by 309 runs on a batting friendly wicket. We had seen many one sided matches in this world cup. However, This one took the cake. After the onslaught by Warner and then Maxwell, Australian bowlers did not give even a single ball of respite and get Netherlands all out in just 90 runs.

In the IL Master group, the Veteran won it by making a 1000+ score yet again. In the course of this win, he beat the crowd favourite Ingenious. With this win Veteran came to the top of the leader board as well. He after winning a match with record breaking score of 1200+ probably became too confident and that resulted in some mediocre performances where he managed to not get any wooden spoons but did not do anything good either. This time he did do pretty well. Well done for that Veteran and best of luck.

The second came, as mentioned before, the crowd favourite Ingenious. She was in fact had the match well in control until for some reason Marsh was given the ball and two wickets he took created all the difference between her and the Veteran. Nevertheless, it looks like that she took the suggestion of Veteran from last match and made some drastic changes in her tactics and that and only that could have resulted in this great game. Congratulations on the second position Ingenious. Do not lose heart. I am sure we will see you at top very soon. Best of luck for that.

A special mention in today’s match, the Debutant had debuted and right away challenged the very tops. He got defeated by the experience of the Veteran and the genius of Ingenious and could only came to 3rd position. However, that is no mean feat in the very first match. Well done Debutant for claiming the third position. Best of luck for future.

Second time in the last 3 matches, the Dark Horse received the wooden spoon. He claims that it is not only his bad luck, some other dark force is behind this as well. Especially, in today’s match until the very last ball he was the 3rd last and got clutched by the Lone Wolf and The Invincible at the very end. Hard luck mate. Dark force or not, you need to try harder. Best of luck for that.
