The match report by the Veteran: After a draught of 25 matches where none of the game went to the last ball, we had back to back two matches where it went to the very last ball. In the first one the chasing team won and in this one the bowling team. Australia emerged as the winner of this game of sea-saw. The day begin with Australian openers gave them best possible opening partnership. When first wicket went down Aussies were already at 175 runs in 19 overs which was a very good score even at t20 standard. New Zealand did pull things back with frequent wickets but in the end with a cameo from Cummins they ended up with a massive total of 388. In response, New Zealand driven by century from Rachin Ravindra and then by Neesham nearly chased down with 6 needed from last ball. However, Australia had the final laugh in the end.

The IL Master group was not far behind in terms of another nail biting finish where the Dark Horse came victorious. Dark Horse had started the tournament well and after that he had shown glimpse of brilliance. However, from the last few games he is not doing well. It is rumoured that some dark force was wroking behind his fall. However, looks like he came out of it. He made all the right choices today and his selection of Head as captain was the risky move which gave him the greatest dividend. Well done Dark Horse and good come back. Congratulations.

The second came the ClutchGod. From last few matches his clutching power had been a question. This match was a similar one. The last minute counter attack by Neesham was the reason behind his coming second in the match. Need to do something here ClutchGod otherwise, the name would loose it’s power. However, a great game tonight. Congratulations and keep it up.

The Lone Wolf is having a nightmarish run in the recent past. This is her back to back wooden spoons which made it equal with only other female in the group who was having even worse tournament. Some thinks that her power was back-firing, some thinks she might have lost the mojo, however, the reporter thinks this is just a loss of focus and sometimes you need luck.
