The match report by the Veteran: “Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo“, believe it or not, that is a grammatically correct sentence. The gist of that sentence is that there are buffalos which bully other bully buffalos. The Indian team is playing like that first buffalo in this world cup. South Africa who until today were bullying other teams by sheer power of their batting was bullied by Indian team in the 37th match of the world cup. Actually annihilation would be the right word. With help from Rohit Sharma’s Sehwagsque start who batted on a totally different pitch until he got out and later supported by Kohli and Iyer India managed to make 326 in a pitch which by the look of it probably a 250 run wicket. In answer, South Africa did not have any answer to either of the pace or spin bowling of India and finally they got all out in 27 overs with just 83 runs on board.

In the IL Master group, things were lot more interesting though. The Veteran, managed to clutch the game right out of Chupe Rustam’s grasp in the very last ball. He beat the Chupe Rustam in his own game by opening a trump card as Kuldip Yadav who was vice captain of his team in the very end. Veteran, started the tournament in the worst possible way by getting back to back wooden spoons in the very first two matches. After that he came back strong and claimed the top position. However, before this match, he was going through a bad patch of form. This was a welcome win for him. Good job and best of luck for future.

The second, as already mentioned, came the Chupe Rustam. He is having a fabulous tournament. In fact, he is one of the most consistent of all masters. He holds the second position in number of wins despite not playing couple of matches. In fact, the top position in the leaderboard would have surely be of his if he did not miss those matches. However, he could only blame himself for that. Today, he would have win this one too with little bit more luck. Hard luck there Chupe Rustam. This is a good game though. Congratulations for that.

Finally, another day and another wooden spoon. No one could be more consistent than the Ingenious in this. In this game, Ingenious put her bet on South Africa, but that’s mistake my friend. You do not do that against India unless it is knock out. Again some change of tactics is required. Best of luck for that and future.
