The match report by the Veteran: The first semi final between India and New Zealand was a game of redemption and the second last step to achieve a dream which was eluding India for more than a decade. They batted like a champion and at the end of the first half, their score 397 looked like an unbeatable target. New Zealand, especially their best two batsmen had some different idea. Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell between them gave real scare until Shami got Kane out after dropping him just a couple of overs back. After that the game belonged to Shami as he carried on to take 7 wickets. India finally won the match by 70 runs.

In the IL Master group, Invincible is back with a record breaking 1300+ score. In fact, so good was his win that he nearly covered the huge gap between himself and the topper of the leaderboard Veteran. In fact, realistically, he is the only one close enough to claim the man of the series award apart from the Veteran. His game tonight was a true masterclass. It was not an easy win though. As Ingenious was nearly there, in fact in the end it was his captain who made him through. The Invincible started the tournament with a win and lost his way in the middle, however, with this match, he bounced back strongly. There is a saying that all’s well that ends well. Looks like Invincible had a very good chance to end it well. A great game today and congratulations for that. However, Veteran will give you a good fight, that is a promise ๐Ÿ˜€.

The second came the Ingenious. We had seen Ingenious came to the report more for the wrong reasons than the right ones. She had so far claimed 9 wooden spoons and ensured that there will not be anyone else other than her who would get the max wooden spoon prize, if there is one. However, she now have less to loose than anyone else. So, she is giving her all to the rest of the matches. In fact, with slightly more luck she could have won this one. And we know that when it comes to winning she does not stop at just one. Nevertheless, a great game and congratulations.

The wooden spoon for the match went to the Clutch God. However, his selfless choice of players resulted in this loss. We all know what he did and for statistics purpose we do count it as another wooden spoon. For us crazy cricket fans, it will be taken as a moral win. Way to go mate.
