The match report by the Veteran: In the second match of IPL 2024, Punjab in spite of getting a scare in the penultimate over with 2 wickets falling in consecutive balls and a dropped chance, pulled it off with a six in the last over. DC had a bowler short due to Ishant Sharma got injured and that affected their game plan badly.

In the IL master group, the ClutchGod did what he does best. He managed to go ahead of The Debutant in the second last over to win his first match of the tournament. We all know what he is famous for and he did it time and again many time. If you have forgotten, remember, if ClutchGod is near the top or near the bottom, start praying as he would 9 out of 10 times knock you out. Awesome job ClutchGod and congratulations.

For the Debutant, it was so close, yet so far. Well fought Debutant, but you know when the ClutchGod is around, there is always some risk. This is just beginning of a long tournament, so lots of twist and turns to be watched. Be determined and have patience. A very good match and best of luck for next game.
