The match report by the Veteran: The 7th match of the IPL 2024 was a one sided affair. After batting first Chennai made 200+ score which is always a tough total to chase against them in their home ground. In answer, GT although started well, lost wickets in regular intervals and finally the match as well by 63 runs.

In the IPL Master group, the Bond finally able to claim the glory. It did not come easy though. He needed to fight tooth and nail against the ClutchGod and in a slightly ironic way, clucthed the ClutchGod to get his win. We all know that the Bond could be a dangerous opponent when he is in form. However, this win is just a fluke or the beginning of a long awaited come back – only the time will tell. Awesome win Bond. The second came the ClutchGod, after back to back clutch in the starting of the tournament, the ClutchGod seemed to have lost a bit of his mojo. The reporter thinks that it is just benevolent consideration for the mere mortals and he will show his true self when the time comes. A great game today. After having won the very last game, th Debutant probably took it easy and that resulted him not only lossing the top spot, he received his first wooden spoon as well. Do not loose focus as it is a long tournament. Best of luck for future.
