The match report by the Veteran: The 11th match of the IPL was an easy win for Lucknow. While chasing 200 set by Lucknow, Punjab captain Dhawan made a brave effort, however, in the end they were short by 21 runs.

The Lone Wolf who had a disappointing start of the tournament, finally found the right combination. Her choice of captain and vice captain as well as the right combination of bowlers won her the match. Yes, sometimes luck is a factor, but then you can only be lucky if you try hard enough. Lone wolf know that by heart and this win is a testament to that. However, it is just a one match wonder or a new beginning that only the time will tell. Until then enjoy the win and congratulations.

A distant second came the Dark horse. Unlike the Lone Wolf, he is having a great tournament. In fact, he is currently one of the top contender of the max wins. In this match though he is shadowed by the Lone Wolf. For some reason he changed his pattern and did not take the new bowler and that probably costed him the match as well. The Dark horse is famous for his weird team selection and considering last tournament as well as the first few matches it is definitely working. Hard luck Dark horse but congratulations for the second spot.

Finally, another match and another wooden spoon for the Bond. He in the last 5 matches (including this one) won 2 and got 2 wooden. He is the definition of consistently inconsistent. Do better mate. Best of luck for that.
