The match report by the Veteran: The 25th match of the IPL between RCB and MI was the battle of honor. Both the team played much below their potential and were at the bottom of the table. While MI raised to the occassion, RCB needs to find way to improve their rate of scoring by their so called ‘world class’ batting line up. It is evident their bowling is not at par with any other team. So, they have to make that up by their batting. In this match, MI chased the target of 196 which would have been a decent target against any other team, in just 16th over.

In the IL master group, it is the night of the Debutant. Not much could be said about Debutant. He and the Veteran are the two best players of this tournament. They are raising each other’s bar with every passing match. Others need to do something or learn something from them to make it more interesting. In this match, Debutant took the risk of taking 8 players from MI which of course was driven by the fact that RCB does not have any good bowler in their line up. This rewarded him the match. Great game Debutant. Congratulations.

For consecutive matches the Bond claimed the second spot. This is defnitely way better than getting the wooden spoon, however, in the end we all know that Bond usually hate the second spot. In his own word, he would rather be at bottom than be at second. Now, this might just be another of his ‘Bondaps’ but he is definitely improving and a win is not far away. The Terminator looks like is not leaving any stone unturned to be in the news. He was not in the report until last to last match. But he is now determined to be in it in one way or other. While the reporter likes the idea, however, he wants to have the Terminator coming to news for all the good reason. Best of luck for that.
