The match report by the Veteran: The 29th match of the IPL 2024 had all the promises of a close fight. Howevever, though MI had the fire power to chase 206 made by Chennai, they were probably missing the team spirit which is required to win the match. So depite a 60 ball century from their ex captain Rohit Sharma they lost by 20 runs.

In the IL Master group, it was the day of the Dude. In this tournament, it looks like Dude started taking things more seriously. He wants to show what happens when a dude becomes serious. He had come to second position a few times but this is the first time he found the top spot. Reporter thinks, now that he tasted the sweet pleasure of the top spot, he might look for more. Others beware of that. Awesome win Dude, congratulations.

The second spot went to the Expert. Similar to Dude before this match. she also did not taste victory. She did came to second spot more times than the Dude though. I am sure she is learning and this win from the Dude will also make her motivated in the upcoming matches. Good luck for that. COngratulations.

Finally the wooden spoon went to the Terminator. The Terminator had decided that there is no middle ground anymore. He will win or he will loose and he will never be in the middle. That is one way to play the game mate. Best of luck next time.
