Will Young and Latham both scored quick centuries to to ensure New Zealand has an easy win against Pakistan in the tournament opener. They scored 320 runs in their quota of 50 overs. Pakistan lost wickets in regular intervals and never really looked threatening to chase it down. In the end they could only make 260 runs and lost by 60 runs.

In the IL Master’s group, story was similar. The Dark Horse took the game away with awesome display of team selection. From halfway mark through the first innings to the end he stayed at top and won it like a champion. In the past, we had seen Dark Horse did well but the question is if he can consistently do well. The Terminator came distant second with nearly 100 points behind. The Terminator in the past had seen long bad patches.
