Upset may be not. It is turning out to be a practice for Afghanistan to defeat big names in ICC tournaments. This time England was the victim. Put to bat, Afghanistan set off a mammoth total of 326 inspired by their best batter Zadran scoring 177 out of 146 balls. In response, England did well with Root scoring a quickfire 120, however, in the end it was not enough. England lost the match by 8 runs as they got all out.

In the IL Master group, it was a run fest. All the players barring one had scored 1000+ and Mr Man came out top to get his first win. He was close to winning couple of times before as well. However, a little beat of luck was what he needed. It was not only luck though. He unlike most other masters took the risk of having 7 players out of Afghanistan. The risk paid off. Hats off to you Mr Man for thinking outside the box. Awesome game and congratulations.

The second came the Dark Horse. The Dark Horse although came second, he is the most consistent performer of this tournament. He has the most number of wins, he has most points as well. Today the luck did not favor or he could have been on top. The Veteran thinks, the Dark Horse figure out the intricacies of this tournament and if just do slightly better, he might be well ahead of all other Masters. The Wooden spoon of the match went to the only master who could not pass the 1000 mark today. He is one of the newest members of the group and still learning. Time to learn it fast mate. Best of luck for the next matches.
