The final match of the group stage between New Zealand and India was only important as it would decide who plays whom in the semis. In fact, lot of cricket fans thinking was this is a good match to loose. Winner of the match would face mighty Aussies and who wants to face Aussies in knock out. New Zealand lost but in no way they gave away the match. They did some magical fielding and catching to restrict India at a decent total of 250. However, except their star batsman Kane Williamson no one had answer to the web of spin by India’s quartet. Finally, they succumbed with only 205 on board and lost the match by 44 runs.

In the IL Master group, it was finally the day of the Terminator. Except for one match where he received a wooden spoon, the Terminator’s journey in this tournament is quite steady. In fact, he came second multiple times and as per one of the reports he needed a little bit of luck to give that final push. Today was that day. He always favors taking more bowlers. The second came the ClutchGod. ClutchGod did not justify his name in this tournament. We had not seen even a single clutch at top or bottom from him.
